The Resort at Pedregal Changes its name again…
The incredible beaches of Los Cabos now have another high end luxury hotel in their ranks. Hilton Hotels has announced that the hotel chain has opened a Waldorf Astoria hotel and resort — the first Waldorf Astoria in Mexico.
This new addition to the legendary chain is the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos and this one was not built from the ground up. Rather, this hotel and resort has just taken over an existing property, the Resort At Pedregal. The Resort At Pedregal reopened in 2015 after Hurricane Odile rebranded from the Capella Pedregal Hotel and Residences.
With the Grand Opening in the fourth quarter of 2019, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos located in Pedregal will be offering guests luxurious amenities and direct beach access. This property will be featuring 115 guest rooms and suites. In comparison, the Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort, Which is Hilton’s primary property in Los Cabos, now features more than double that number of rooms with 375 guest rooms.
